THE LADDER TO WELLNESS APPROACH

WHY IS IT SO HIGHLY EMPOWERING?

As a Holistic Nutritionist, I recognize that we are all different, so when it comes to nutrition and health, there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach that works for everybody. It’s not magic. Diets don’t work the same way for every person and do not teach you the right way to do things that benefit your health.

I acknowledge the frustration of visiting doctors regularly with hopes to improve, and not have your health concerns resolved. I’ve been there! For this reason, and with the goal in mind to help other people, I created “THE LADDER TO WELLNESS”, a holistic approach based on women’s needs, that considers the variables that might affect their health, like the food they eat or don’t eat, their level of stress, the time they exercise (or not), their sleeping patterns, the environment where they live and work, toxicity, their emotions and their thoughts, among others. I always take into account the relation between Body, Mind and Spirit, because every different aspect needs nourishment, not only the body.

Once I evaluate all those variables, I create a series of recommendations for you. Each recommendation is like one-step in a ladder that brings you closer to the top: your ultimate goal of wellness. That’s where the name of “THE LADDER TO WELLNESS” comes from.

When I work with you, following my approach:

  • I give you some questionnaires to fill out before our first meeting.
  • Once you fill them out, we connect, in person or online, to discuss your health concerns. I take the time to listen to your story, so I get all the information I need to help you.
  • We discuss things like your needs and goals, your current health situation, your level of stress and current dietary habits, your sleeping patterns, the environment around you at home and at work or school, and the complexity of your lifestyle, among other things.
  • I consider the synergy between Body, Mind and Spirit, because all of them need nourishment.
  • I design an action plan completely personalized that will support you on your path to wellness, with Dietary recommendations, Supplementation and Lifestyle changes suggested.
  • Steps and instructions within my recommendations are simple, easy to follow, effective and empowering. The recommendations take into account where you are right now, your resources, your possibilities, your limitations and your personal point of view.
  • I provide handouts with extra-level of detail on topics that will benefit each one of them.
  • My approach also focuses on Education, Prevention, and Maintenance. Education will help your acquire the knowledge you need to make informed decisions in the future. Prevention will help you be proactive in the future. Moreover, Maintenance will help you not only become healthy, but also keep you on the path to wellness.
  • I help you and support you as your  accountability partner, so you don’t feel alone, by having a helping hand while you walk through your path to wellness.
